Data Labelling and Annotation

Grow your business through High Performance, Scalable, Data Labelling

Quantanite assemble fully managed offshore teams to carry out large volumes of Data Labelling and Annotation workload to help clients tech learn. The recent growth in Automation & AI technology means several businesses require large scale teams to ensure their machine learning capabilities stay ahead of the curve and don’t fall behind in the fast-paced world of ‘Industry 5.0.’

Dedicated teams, working as an extension of a client’s in-house workforce, work directly into the back-end of client software, with speed & accuracy, increasing productivity and saving on operational costs.

Alternatively, if clients haven’t got their own annotation software, Quantanite can help. We can customise our own in-house software to create a complete Labelling and Annotation solution.

We use a combination of our own and our clients propitiatory annotation tools to maximise the output from all AI categorisation

2D & 3D Boundary Boxing

For bounding box annotation, human annotators are given an image and are tasked with drawing a box around certain objects within the image. The box should be as close to every edge of the object as possible.

Polygon Annotation

Sometimes target objects with irregular shapes can’t be easily annotated with bounding boxes or cuboids. Polygon annotation allows annotators to plot points on each vertex of the target object.

Traffic Sign Annotation

Traffic sign annotation refers to  machine-generated detections of traffic signs based upon previous traffic sign tagging. All tagging is classified based on individual templates and other attributes.

Semantic Segmentation

Semantic segmentation is much more precise and specific than other types of annotations. Semantic segmentation is the process of associating every single pixel in an entire image with a tag.

Image Classification

Image classification refers to a process in computer vision that can classify an image according to its visual content. E.g. An algorithm can be designed to tell if an image contains a human figure or not.

Lines & Splines

Lines and splines are mainly used to train machines to recognize lanes and boundaries. As their name suggests, annotators would simply draw lines along the boundaries you require your machine to learn.

How Quantanite Produces Bespoke Automated Processes

Process Mapping & Knowledge Transfer

Firstly we focus on mapping on the key target processes, receiving any existing training materials and asking questions around the processes as they currently exist. We may also create our own training manuals or augment existing materials to support our training efforts.

Automation Assessment & Benchmarking

Next, we go through your specific data security requirements and begin training up the initial team members as well as assessment to find the best automation tools to begin executing the processes. This will allow us to set an initial benchmark for the task to ensure we provide a quality service.

Onboarding & Training

At this stage we onboard any team members and automation tools, go through customer-specific data security briefings and begin training up the initial members to begin executing the processes. Our focus is initially on quality to ensure the knowledge transfer has been successful, we work closely with you to iron out any areas of uncertainty.

Scale Up & Optimise

Finally once quality is in place, we will begin scaling up the delivery volumes to the targets. We will also put in place more formal quality assurance processes to ensure processes are being tracked and optimised to ensure KPI’s are met throughout their ongoing delivery.
